Wedding in the Church of Our Lady and All Saints, Parbold
2 September 2017

Date: 17 September 2017

We booked Dr Klaus Bung to play the organ at our wedding service on the 2nd of September. Having seen his excellent reviews online, we expected a professional, experienced organ player. What we got was so much more than that - Klaus went above and beyond our expectations both personally and professionally, and we can't praise him enough for the special part he played in our wedding.

From the start Klaus was insistent on travelling all the way from London to Wigan (our wedding location) by rail, on a very early morning train. We were overwhelmed by the lengths he was willing to go just to be part of our service.

Prior to the service he was incredibly thorough regarding our hymn choices and was very knowledgable about the wedding service ritual. There's nothing Klaus doesn't know about the organ or the church, and this is immediately apparent upon talking to him. He took our wedding so seriously, and it was lovely to know that he respected our day so much.

Onto the day itself - Klaus was amazing! He took control, entertaining our guests at the church with beautiful improvised organ playing whilst they gathered.

During the service, he played our hymns perfectly to the extent that the priest stated, 'That's some organ player you have there!' The guests were also incredibly impressed.

Klaus is a very talented, personable and accommodating organ player and has a very kind nature. We are so glad we booked him and will be in contact with him again if we ever need an organ player!

Thank you so much, Klaus, we will always be grateful for the part you played in our wedding.
